| Description: |
|
The U-Mary Loop is a good route southeast of Bismarck utilizing 1804, 158th St. SE and Highway 10. For cyclists wishing to get out and stretch their legs for about three hours, this is a great route. As its name implies, the route passes by University of Mary, which sits upon a large bluff just south of Bismarck and has some of the best views of the Missouri River valley in the region. This route is composed of moderately flat to rolling topography, with one significant climb (or rapid decent) just north of the university. Cyclists should expect moderate to heavy traffic along the route between Bismarck and the university as well as Highway 10. The route is intemediate in its difficulty, and can be ridden in either direction. |
